Specialist Crate Design

Specialist Crate Design

Logos Logistics custom design and construct bespoke crates specifically tailored to customer need and the specific ergonomic requirements of the valuable and sensitive equipment. Consideration is given around the entire handling operation to ensure safe and efficient design which minimises movement or shifting during transit. They then prototype and test the new crate designs in partnership with their customer, ensuring safe, secure, and effective crating solutions that are transportation ready.

Specialist Packing

Logos Logistics work in close partnership with their supply chain to select the highest quality protective packaging to insulate the equipment from environmental factors. They construct crating solutions using plywood and timber for versatility, strength, and its unique ability to provide shock absorption and protection against possible impact. Various techniques are employed such as strapping, bracing, or blocking to immobilise the equipment and distribute the forces evenly. This ensures that the item remains in a fixed position, reducing the risk of any possible damage.
